Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to build an app?
It depends on how many features the first version has. An MVP with the essential features is built much faster than a complete platform, which is why we recommend launching a small version first and adding the rest after feedback. You get the exact timeline after the specification.
How much does a custom app cost?
The cost depends on the number of screens and features, the integrations needed and the platforms (web, iPhone, Android). We don't quote off the cuff: after a short call and a specification you get a quote split into stages, so you know exactly what you pay for each part.
Web app or mobile app?
For most businesses, a web app that works well on mobile is enough, and it can be installed on the phone home screen. A native mobile app makes sense when you need phone features, frequent notifications or a presence in the App Store and Google Play.
What is an MVP and why start with one?
An MVP is the first version of the product, with only the features it cannot work without. You put it in front of real users, see what they actually use, and then invest only in what has proven useful.
Who owns the source code after delivery?
An app built to order is yours. We agree in the quote how the source code, hosting access and app accounts are handed over, so you don't depend on us for anything essential.
